The Holyoke Office of Planning and Development at One Court Plaza provides ongoing services to manufacturers and businesses of all sizes and types. Working with existing businesses in Holyoke and companies new to the area, its staff will set up a one-on-one meeting to discuss your company’s individual needs. As a result of that interview, the office is able to meet your needs or direct you to the right program, agency, or organization within the city or state that can help your company accomplish its objectives. Through the Holyoke Economic Development and Industrial Corporation the city is able to address manufacturing concerns.

For example, one local company needed labor training and capital equipment. Management also wanted to reorganize its manufacturing flow and reduce energy costs. The Holyoke Office of Planning and Development referred the company to four different government programs specifically focused on these areas. As a result, the company was quickly directed to the right agencies and services that would help meet its specific needs.

Because there are hundreds of programs available that are constantly changing, the City of Holyoke is continually updating its knowledge and data base in order to provide businesses with current information.
